Classic Avocado Toast

A simple, creamy breakfast finished with a tangy kick and depth of fermented flavour.


INGREDIENTS (Serves 1):

  • 2 slices bread, toasted
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2–3 Tbsp KUME Classic Sauce
  • Sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • Chili flakes or fresh dill (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Toast the bread: Toast until golden and crisp.
  2. Smash the avocado: Spread the avocado over the toast. Squeeze lemon juice on top and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the sauce: Drizzle KUME Classic Sauce generously. It adds brightness and subtle fermented depth.
  4. Finish your way: Top with chili flakes, fresh herbs, or keep it simple. No rules — just good toast.
