Easy Peasy Ribs

Slow-cooked until tender, then glazed in a thick layer of bold, glossy BBQ sauce. Sweet, smoky, and deeply savoury — the kind of ribs that get messy in the best way.

INGREDIENTS (Serves 2-3):

  • 1 rack pork ribs (about 1–1.2 kg)
  • 1 tsp salt or 1–2 Tbsp BBQ rub (optional)
  • ½–¾ cup KUME BBQ Sauce (plus extra for brushing)
  • Optional (for serving): Lime wedges, fresh herbs, extra sauce on the side

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season the ribs: Pat ribs dry and rub with salt or your favourite BBQ rub. Let sit for at least 20 minutes (or refrigerate for a few hours if you have time).
  2. Cook until tender: Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 2–2.5 hours, covered with foil, until the meat is tender and pulling back from the bone. Alternatively, grill over indirect heat or air-fry at 350°F (175°C) until cooked through and tender.
  3. Glaze and caramelize: Brush generously with KUME BBQ Sauce. Return to oven or grill uncovered for 10–15 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy and slightly caramelized.
  4. Slice and serve: Cut between the bones and serve warm with extra sauce on the side.
